A Photoshop Tutorial on how to remove an unwanted object from a photo. I know we discussed this last class, but I thought it could be useful to watch a clip on it:

The guy shows how to remove a piece of unwanted garbage out of a photo of his dog. He uses the "clone" tool in photoshop.

This is a picture I took in Rockport, Massachusetts. I like the way the current makes all the boats face away from shore, and also because they're all small sailboats looking out into the big ocean

Comparing Light: Class Images from 10/6/10

For the first image, the exposure is high letting in a lot of light while in the second image the exposure was lowered and the flash was on reflecting an artificial sense of light.

I took this photo in Barcelona when the sun was setting. I tried it in color as well but I liked the Black & White version better because it gives modern day photo's more of an older feel. Plus I really like the lines that the shadows from the trees make as well as the lines from the sun that are coming through the trees and I feel that is better captured in Black & White. Also the way the lines are all pointing in a way makes the sun seem like the center of the picture and everything is radiating from it.
